Dear experts!

If in an appointment letter, it's written that all terms and conditions listed in the letter constitute a contract, are there any legal consequences in not joining the organization after accepting the appointment? Please help.

When you accept the job, you are expected to honor your commitment. But practically speaking, many people still switch jobs for various reasons. Most employers overlook such occurrences and proceed with their backup candidate. Legal actions are seldom taken in such cases. However, one should uphold their commitments and not easily break them.
