Dear all, I have one doubt and to clear that I am writing
1. One of my employees got miscarriage in 2015 and availed 6 weeks ML in the year 2015.
2. Then she again conceived and availed ML after child delivery of 12 weeks in 2016.
3. Now she gave birth on 28 May 2020 and is on ML.
Please clear my doubt that
This time, in year 2020, whether she will get 26 weeks of ML - or- first pregnancy (miscarriage) benefit of 6 weeks will be deducted -or- Altogether a women will get maternity benefit of how many days leave?

The 2016 amendment to the Maternity Benefit Act 1961 increased maternity benefit from 12 weeks to 26 weeks for two surviving children and 12 weeks for more than two childern. So in this case it is 26 weeks.
Hope this clarifies
