HI! i have worked for an MNC company for 8 months and then i have met with major accident so due to that i have got absconded from the company. Now i have to get the relieving letter from the company so that i can apply to other jobs and it had been 3 months since i have absconded. My hr accepted my request to issue me the relieving letter can i know how many days it takes to get the letter and i am also ready to pay the due amount for my recovery deductions and also i will provide medical documents as my reason is genuine but i want the letter as soon as possible.

Pujitha- Sai should have written this as a mail to the HR manager of your company rather than posting it here. It is for the HR Manager or whoever is issuing the letter to react on it. You have accepted that you absconded and you know that it is a wrong practice for an employee to do like that. Instead of getting the medical certificates and other papers ready now, you should have prepared it and sent it to the company well when you were discharged from the hospital. Immediately or within a reasonable time of meeting with he accident you should have informed the company of your status. You should have done it by sending somebody fro your home to the office. But you did not do this. Certainly, the company would have caused some loss due to this. Now let the company also take their time to issue you relieving order.
