Choosing the Best Contingent Workforce Model
Which contingent workforce model would be best in terms of cost, legal compliance, etc., considering that this manpower has to be deployed for production work that regular workmen do in factories? So far, I have considered apprenticeship schemes like NAPS, NATS.
Advantages of FTCs and Contract Labor
What are the advantages of FTCs, contract labor, etc., if the employer has to pay them benefits like PF, ESI, gratuity? How does it make them any different from permanent workmen? Can FTC, CL, etc., also unionize or raise a dispute under the ID Act?
Looking forward to some enlightening views on the pros and cons of the different models!
