Confused About Employee Performance KPIs in IT Projects? Seeking Clear Guidance!

Though I am from the IT field, I need to have knowledge about HR for the new project. I have gone through many topics submitted to this site asking about the KPIs, but didn't find any that could help me out. All I saw was regarding the performance measurement of the company. All I need to know is the KPIs that can be used to measure the performance of an employee. The topic is confusing me a lot. I hope to get a satisfying reply.

KPIs are the key performance indicators; these quantify the expectations.
For example, reducing your project cycle time by 15%.
Once these are given weightages, they become further quantified.
