Sir,

After 17 years of service, I quit my job and am currently unemployed. I am 54 years old. Please let me know if I can opt for enhanced EPF pension post Supreme Court ruling. I haven't withdrawn my accumulation yet.

Enhanced pension is applicable to employees whose employers have contributed to PF without restricting or capping the salary to Rs. 15,000. Without disclosing how much your employer has been contributing, we cannot provide a comment on your post.

If your employer had contributed Rs 12,000, being 12% of your salary, then you can get a higher pension based on that Rs 1 lakh salary. You may approach the PF office for details.
