1. Is there any limit on the number of interns I can employ?
2. Are interns who are paid a stipend considered employees under the Shops and Establishment Act? Does the company need to pay PF, insurance, etc.?
3. Can the student do a part-time internship in a remote working arrangement (working from their place of stay) without seeking specific approval from their college?
4. Can a student who has just graduated from college seek internships in case he/she doesn't have a job?
5. What are the minimum legal requirements (in terms of documents needed from students, process, record management, any legal filing, etc.) for a startup employer to take students as interns?
