EPF contribution from 12% to 10 % applicability - its applicable from which month?

Dear All, Recently government has announced regarding EPF contribution from 12% to 10% for next three months
My query is, its applicable from which month ?

It shall be from June 20, July & Aug 20.

Is it not applicable from the wage month of May 2020 onwards?

On the basis of feed back from EPFO officials, this slashing of contributions shall be
from June 20 onwards. However, as of now, no official communication/circular is emanated
from Central PF Commissioner's Office, New Delhi

Epf 10% is applicable for May, June and July-20 ( Notification Attached).
One Query, Please help to resolve:-
Who will get the benefit of reduce 4% amount, employee only or Employee and employer both, if Employer Contribution to EPF is Part of CTC ?

If Employer wishes & his Financial Position is stable despite Lockdown, he may pass on the benefit to Employee.But, left to the discretion of Employer.It is not correct to think about CTC during Pandemic Situation.The purpose of reduction is to increase liquidity

Though Provident Fund office has yet to upload the clarification on its portal under Tab " COVID",
the Press Information Bureau has issued the notification. It also talks of CTC in relation to employer share of PF.
It is applicable for wage months May, June and July 2020.
