Lockdown Attendance Dilemma: Should These Days Count as Present or Leave?

Whether to consider lockdown days as present or leave is a question that arises. In both cases, the employee would receive full salary, and the leave can be treated as a statutory leave. This means these days are considered as present for eligibility for bonuses and PL accrual, similar to the concept of statutory maternity leave.

The present lockdown days are to be considered as on duty/present.

Leaves during lockdown days may be treated as Holidays with Pay. This will not affect other leaves like PL, CL, SL.
