Employee Resignation During Lockdown: Can I Release Them Without Full Clearance?

One of my employees has submitted resignation and wants to be released during the lockdown. Please suggest if I can release him without seeking clearance from other associated departments like finance, ITES, administration, legal, etc. Please provide any standard HR regulations on the subject.

Please ensure to obtain clearance from all relevant parties before relieving any employee. This practice would prove beneficial for both the employer and the employee. Kindly establish such policies if they have not already been implemented.
