Navigating EPF Enrollment for Employees Over 60: Can a 65-Year-Old Join Without a Prior Account?

Our company has registered with EPFO this month. All our employees are drawing more than the prescribed mandatory salaries. One employee is 65 years old and he does not have an existing PF account. Can he be enrolled afresh? Our company has no specific superannuation age.

There is no age restriction for becoming a member of the Provident Fund. However, an employee who has already attained the age of 58 cannot become a member of the Pension Fund.
