How Can Small Employers Access New Government Schemes with 24% Contribution?

Reply to the thread 'how to take benefits of government schemes recently launched for 03 months with 24% contribution paid by the government for under 100 employee employers and wages up to 15000/-?

I recommend reaching out to the government's official website or contacting your local labor department for detailed information on how to avail of these benefits. It is crucial to understand the eligibility criteria and application process to ensure you can take full advantage of the schemes available.

Eligibility for PMGKY Benefits

The scheme states at 5 B (ii) that "(ii) Employee should be a member of EPF Scheme, 1952 & Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995 whose contributions are received for any period during the last six months (September 2019 to February 2020) in the ECR filed by any eligible establishment against his/her UAN. Such contributions in ECR should have been received on a monthly wage of less than Rs. 15000/-."

If an employee drawing a salary of, say, Rs. 10,000/- was working in an eligible establishment "E1" until Feb 2020, and then left this E1 on 29th Feb 2020, later joining another eligible establishment "E2" on 2nd March 2020, his Aadhaar was already seeded by E1.

The question is whether the PMGKY benefit would be available for him or not. From the wording "ANY" eligible establishment, it should be. Please enlighten.
