After getting reinstatement in to the service one can not be relieved on the basis of his earlier letter of resignation?

Dear Friends, Please extend your help on following point: After getting reinstatement in to the service one can not be relieved on the basis of his earlier letter of resignation /offer submitted before reinstatement. For relieving he has to submit fresh resignation after reinstatement.
