Sandwich Policy - due to coronavirus we are telling people to take leave without pay

I am working for a private IT staffing firm and I have a query regarding the company's sandwich policy. Due to the coronavirus situation, we are advising employees to take leave without pay. I would like to know if this policy will include salary deductions for Saturdays and Sundays or if those days will be paid.
