Sandwich Policy - due to coronavirus we are telling people to take leave without pay

Hi friends, I am working for a Private IT staffing firm , I had a query if there is sandwich policy in a company and due to coronavirus we are telling people to take leave without pay.. will it include saturday and sunday salary deduction or paid.
