Can someone help me understand which income tax regime is beneficial for less than 10 lakhs income per annum? Old (2019-2020) vs. New (2020-2021).

Hi,

If you are availing the benefits of various exemptions, then the old IT is beneficial for you. Maybe in due course, there will be more amendments to the new one, which is applicable only with effect from April 01, 2020.
