Stuck in Limbo: How Can I Legally Ensure My Resignation is Accepted to Secure a New Job Opportunity?

I'm working in a private firm in Mysore. Now I have received an offer in Bangalore. Following this, I submitted my resignation via email. Prior to this, I was told that I did not have any notice period to serve in the company. However, I am facing an issue now as they have not acknowledged my resignation. I have not received any response to the email, and they have not initiated a discussion on the matter. Despite my numerous attempts to address the situation, it seems futile to pursue the matter further.

The HR team and the current Functional Manager/Supervisor are unresponsive to my emails and written communications, continually postponing any discussions when I press for answers. My concern lies in the fact that the company has neither accepted my resignation nor provided a timeline for my release. This lack of communication is jeopardizing a promising career opportunity for me.

I seek guidance on the best (legal) course of action to swiftly exit the company.

Employer's Obligation to Respond to Resignation

If your factual details are correct and indisputable, your employer has no locus standi to be silent or unresponsive to your resignation submitted through e-mail.
