Request for Early Release from Current Employment
I am Lokesh, working in ABC (MNC) company. I resigned from my current position because I received an offer from another MNC company. I requested my current organization for an early release because it is clearly mentioned in my offer letter that the company will pay or recover salary instead of the notice period. I am ready to pay my basic salary, but the company HR is not allowing me. I am prepared to transfer all my responsibilities, which would take a maximum of 1 month, and my notice period is 90 days. I want a 30-day early release.
I am willing to serve a 60-day notice period and also ready to pay the remaining 30 days' salary. My question is, as per corporate industry rules, does the company have the right to hold me? What should be my further course of action against this?
