Facing EPF Settlement Issues Due to Wrong DOJ and Account Number – How Can I Resolve This?

Hello everyone, I am facing an EPF issue. One of our employees joined in 2015 with one EPF account number. We made payments into that account number. When EPF started the UAN mandatory amendment, his account number and date of joining (DOJ) were wrongly entered, generating a UAN.

Currently, he has resigned from his job and has come for settlement. His passbook entries are only recorded after the UAN allocation. In this circumstance, what should I do and how can I solve this problem? Kindly provide your valuable ideas or solutions to address this issue.

You can submit a joint declaration to the PF authorities (employee & employer) for corrections in the Date of Joining and Account number. Kindly request them to rectify the errors accordingly.
