Please do find out that your absonding guy is in his home town itself , hope you have supporting documents abpout loans given to him , complain to police immediately.
Another option is mean but still you should use it go to his home along with your subordinates speak to his parents, wife and tell them the grave consequences that he will face on his failure to return company assets .
