What's the percentage of basic salary under act & rules for Indian payroll management system?

May I know what the percentage of basic salary is under the act and rules for the Indian payroll management system? Please advise.

As per the Indian act, the basic salary is provided between 30% and 60% of the Cost to Company (CTC).

We are practicing 65% of gross salary taken for the purpose of fixing basic salary + DA, subject to minimum wages applicable to a particular category of employee.
