Gratuity Calculation Confusion: Should I Use My Last Basic Drawn or Monthly Wage?

manish-garg1
My monthly basic wage rate is Rs. 30,000, and my last working day is 19th November 2019. So, my last basic drawn is Rs. 19,000. Which amount should be used in the gratuity calculation: Rs. 19,000 or Rs. 30,000?
amit-kumar1
On Rs. 30,000/- because gratuity is calculated on the last basic, which means actual basic, not earned basic.

To make it clear to understand, gratuity is calculated based on the Basic Salary of the last appointment, increment, or promotion letter issued to you, or as per the last full month's basic salary.

Thank you.

Dear Experts,
Thanks for the reply. Is there any definition of "Last Withdrawn Wages" written in law?
amit-kumar1
- Last Drawn Salary is your last total gross salary that has been granted to you.
- Last Drawn Salary generally means your last monthly gross salary (undeducted for taxes and other deductions).
- Mentioned in Section 4: Payment of gratuity of "Last Withdrawn Wages"
