Dear Respected Members/Moderators,
I am a working professional in a mixed role from the very beginning of my career in HR, IR, Administration, and Corporate Services. Now, I have reached the 9th year of my journey, designated as Assistant Manager. Reflecting on this journey sometimes brings me pain regarding my education and the perks I am currently receiving. I am just a BA graduate earning 5.5 LPA, which began from a mere 0.84 LPA. Meanwhile, my ex-colleagues' earnings have multiplied several times over, some even four times my current package. In fact, at times, our perks are almost equal or, in some cases, lesser than mine. All they have is a professional degree or an MBA backing.
Seeking Suggestions for Career Advancement
I seek your kind suggestions on how to overcome this situation and pursue higher education of quality while working within a limited budget. Additionally, I am curious about the opportunities available to me if I continue at the same pace. Last year, I switched to my 5th organization in my career, accepting just a 9% hike, which was also in a third-party role/off-role. Out of 5 positions, 4 were off-role positions.
P.S.: Reviews from my previous managers indicate that I am proficient at my work and a quick learner. However, everything I have learned to date has been through experience alone, without any formal qualifications. I am genuinely committed to progressing further in the same field.
Regards,
Ravi
