Business Travel Dilemma: Should a Long Return Journey Count as Compensatory Leave?

Hi all,

If a person was sent on business travel on the weekend and when returning, he had a long journey of around 20-24 hours drive arranged by the company, and due to the long journey, if he took off the next day, will it be considered as CL/Compensatory off? Or should it be considered as Business travel off?

Hi,

It should be considered as compensatory time off as he was traveling after his work hours until the next working day. However, I did not understand what is meant by business travel off beyond this.
