vasudha gupta
Hi, I have completed my three-year diploma course after 10+2. Now, I want to pursue an MBA through distance learning. Kindly suggest some good university/institute names for the same.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Vasudha,

You can do your MBA from ICFAI (www.icfai.org). It's a good private university in India. You can do an MBA in HR, Finance, Marketing, Computers, etc., where initially for the first 15 months, the syllabus is the same, and you can choose your specialization. You can complete the course in two years if you really study hard, and you will get a Master's Degree. Look at the site, and if you have any queries, do let me know.

Hi,

According to me, ICFAI is the cheapest among all good universities, where you can also pay by installments. Cheaper than ICFAI may be IGNOU, but how far it is recognized is a question mark.

Hi Vasudha,

I understand that you have not completed your graduation and have only done a diploma. To my knowledge, most universities require a graduation for an MBA. However, some institutes offer MBAs that are either not recognized, or they are too costly. Why don't you consider pursuing your graduation at Bharathidasan University in Trichy? It is easier since marks are awarded for internal assessment.

Good luck,

Hi Vasudha,

You can try IGNOU or Annamalai University. For Annamalai, a 10+2+3 years graduation is a must. ICFAI is not recognized by the Distance Education Council of India. However, if you opt for a regular course, then ICFAI will be alright since it is recognized by UGC for regular courses.

You can check the DEC website for recognized Institutes/Universities: http://www.dec.ac.in/.

Thanks

Hi,

You can do an MBA from IGNOU, but they may require 3 years of job experience. However, if you pursue an MBA through distance learning from Symbiosis, it will be valuable.

Hi Vasudha,

You are not currently employed, so pursuing a degree from IGNOU may seem like a waste of time. Instead, consider an integrated MBA program, which typically involves completing a BBA before pursuing an MBA. I believe APSAS (Asia Pacific School Of Advanced Studies) offers such programs through distance learning. You can verify this information on their website at www.isas.in. Additionally, explore other options since you are not a graduate yet.

Thank you,
Tarun

Thank you for your reply.

I am currently working as an SAP Consultant, and I am considering pursuing an MBA from a recognized university or institute to enhance my future prospects. However, I have not completed my graduation. I have completed a three-year diploma course from IGNOU.
