We are a retail Company and we are registered under S&E act. We have 75 staff who are on the rolls of the Company and we have 60 Contractual staff. The employees are based in Bangalore & Mandya.
As per the act we are in compliance with the S&E act, but the query is as follows.
1. Definition of Wage: If PF & ESI Employer contribution can be considered for total wages to determine the Minimum wages Compliance?
2. In case of Contractual employees, We have contracted many employee's as Trainee's and as per S&E act, should we pay 75% of the wages as defined in the S&E act?
