Urgent work on weekend/Pending work and employee doesn't turn up - what kind of action can company take?

Dear All, Ours is a small firm , we keep alternate Saturday's off but given a situation if we have some urgent work cropped up to be completed by weekend or if a employee's work is pending for that week and if company decides to call them and keep one of the alternate Saturday working in order to complete the urgent/pending and employee doesn't turn up - what kind of action can company take?

Without any Prejudice and Arbitrariness, it is Every Employer's inalianable and Non-Negotiable Prerogative, Proiviledge and Right to Change Work-Shift/Days due to Exigencies of Work and properly Communicate such Changes in Advance followed by in writing/Notice.
The Employer may decide to take Disciplinary Action for failure to Comply with / Obey Employer's / Management's Order/Instruction.
Lets be sure that the concerned Management / Managers are fully awre of the Disciplinary Action-Steps to be taken /Procedures prescribed.

He is entitled for the pay for the day. Inform he accordingly, and also that the unauthorized absence entails a break in service with all its adverse consequences.My experience is that such an action would have longstanding effect.

Thanks for the reply , I need to know whether the employee is entitled for additional pay then at what rate? Also alternate saturday to give or not is management decision for small firms if on some urgent occasion management calls is it mandatory to give additional pay ? If the employee doesnt respect this call and doesnt turn up for urgent work then can management deduct his pay for that day?
