Navigating PF Form 11: Can I Use My Previous Employer's PF Details After Absconding?

Pravenk
Hi, I joined a new company recently. They are asking me to fill out Form PF Form 11, where I need to provide details of my previous employee Provident Fund (PF). I have worked in a total of 4 companies, but in my last company, I absconded after 20 days. They generated PF and paid salary for 20 days due to it being a contract job with night shifts. I did not inform my new employer about my abrupt departure from the last company. Can I provide my PF number from the company before the last one on Form 11?

Hi,

Yes, you can provide your PF UAN number and continue with it. It has nothing to do with the details of the previous company/contribution or anything. PF is just like a savings account. No one can access your account to retrieve the details unless you share the password, which you are not supposed to do.

Hope I am clear and loud.

Hi,

Thank you for your response. I have one UAN number and four different PF numbers based on companies. In this case, I am asking for the PF numbers that the companies have generated. I need to fill out both the UAN and PF numbers.
