A public limited company has appointed a foreign national as a consultant for a period of 3 years under Employment visa and a consultancy agreement is in place. Whether such consultant is eligible for employee benefits like PF, ESI etc?
If the said person is employee.
If he falls under the wage limits of contribition towards epf and esic.
If he satisfies all the terms and conditions under employee - employer relationship
Then he is to be covered for all social wefare benefits as normal employee.
