My friend asked me to send my degree certificates - he may have copied/edited my certificates - who will punishable?

Recently my friend asked me to send my degree certificates i.e memo and provisional. I have doubt he edited my certificates.
If he is caught by that company then who will punishable, me or my friend. Can you please give me the answer.

Your friend has fraudulently forged your qualifications certificate so action if any, will lie against him subject to proving his act of forgery.
