Understanding EPS Scheme Certificate: Can I Use It to Enhance My Experience at a New Job?

Hi, I worked with an organization for 23 years and resigned in 2012. I obtained my EPS scheme certificate as well. Now, after 6.5 years, I have joined a new company, and they have started deducting PF from last month. Can I surrender my EPS scheme certificate to add to my experience? What will be the procedure?

If you already have a scheme certificate, you can claim early pension using Form 10D at the age of 51 years. Dual pension claims are not permissible. Please inform the present employer to only pay the contribution in the EPF account and not in the EPS account.
