Employment Termination and PF Details
I worked in a company for only one month and received payment for that month. Due to personal problems and my situation, I couldn't continue that job. In that company, taking more than three consecutive days of leave results in termination. I received the termination letter at my home.
This was my second company. The previous company's PF details are updated, but due to the short duration of my employment in the second company, which was only one month, they have not updated my PF details. I have written an email to the HR department regarding the issues with my PF account.
Notice Period and Full and Final Settlement
The HR department is requesting 10,009 rupees for not serving the notice period. They mentioned that they will update my PF details only if I pay this amount. The company is asking for this money as part of the full and final settlement, even though I worked for only one month in that company.
I am unsure whether it is necessary to pay this amount or if there is any alternative solution available.
