Hi..
Please find attached the Excel Sheet.
You can use it to track the information which will cover almost all the details.
This is the way i follow , and it helps me in getting the update as and when needed.
Through your ideas on improving this format by addition and deletion of fields.
I have updated the sheet, made few changes. Hope i have covered most of the details now.

i think u shud also add email id / education details / past companies and very imp both residence no as well as cell number
