Hello friends, the Minimum Rates of Wages in Tamil Nadu have been revised, and the Basic Wages and Dearness Allowance have also increased to 8.75 per point, effective from July 2019.

Security Inspector/Security Officer: Basic - 12987, DA - 4882

From where can I get the minimum wage rate for all of India and the dates of changes in the minimum wages and guard board rates?

Hi, Each state has its own notification date for DA Points. For example, Maharashtra's notification dates are in January and July. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan have notification dates in April and October. Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have annual notifications in April. Apart from DA Points, there will be a revision of basic wages once every 5 years or as per the state's notification. To stay updated on such changes, it is important to follow the respective state gazette notifications.

Only Maharashtra has a Guard Board where rates are fixed through the board. Other states do not have such a board, but they have a schedule of wages for security.
