Hi Everyone, please advise, it's urgent. Help me. I worked in a small company with under 10 employees in Mumbai at the Mira-Bhayandar area as an IT Support Technician, basically a user support technician. My salary is 20K per month, annually 2,40,000. My employer told me that he doesn't pay anyone TDS nor does he pay PF or any benefits. He just pays a fixed monthly salary of 12K, 15K, 18K, or 20K to employees.
Payslip Format Without TDS and PF Deductions
I need a payslip format/salary slip format without TDS and PF deductions in it. He (employer) is willing to deduct/pay only Professional Tax, which is 200 per month in Maharashtra. Can anyone help me or send me how my payslip would look like without any deduction except PT (200) only, since I heard Medical and Conveyance allowance are not needed in payslip for the years 2019-2020-2021?
Standard Format and Mandatory Components in a Payslip
Is there a standard format that everyone needs to follow in Mumbai/India, and which things are mandatory in a payslip? Can I just show gross pay 20k, deduct PT - 200 so my Net Pay will be 19,800 in Payslip, or do I need to follow any particular format? Is it mandatory to follow a particular format in a payslip or is it mandatory to include DA, HRA, CA, Medical, Education, Special Allowance, TDS, PF, and Professional Tax (PT)? Will my payslip still be considered perfectly fine if my employer just includes Gross Pay - 20k, deducts PT (200), which makes 19,800 as Net Salary, and gives me a cheque of 19,800 as Net salary/In-hand Salary? If this is not recommended, then which things are mandatory to include in a payslip and which things can be skipped/not mandatory and ignored in a payslip?
Please note I will be using this payslip as proof of my work experience, income, and tax purposes. So, I want to make sure which format I should use for my payslip for 20k per month. Please guide and send/show me a sample format that I can use. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
Please advise. Thanks again.
