Please share the revised Special Allowance and minimum Wages w.e.f. 1st July 19 to 31 December 2019.

kindly share Minimum wage in Maharashtra DA special allowance w e f Jully 1 2019 to Dec 31 2019.

Can somebody clarify whether effective 24th July 2019, has minimum wages for Maharashtra Zone I workers under Shops & Commercial Establishment increased to Rs. 11632 + Rs. 4565 or is it only Rs. 11632? In other words should we add VDA (also called Special Allowance in Maharashtra) of Rs. 4565 to Basic of Rs. 11632?

PFA new notification on Minimum Wages in Maharashtra dated 24th July 2019. It is only applicable to workers covered under Shops & Commercial Establishments. It is not clear yet if VDA (or Special Allowance in Maharashtra) of Rs. 4565 must be added to Basic of Rs. 11632 for Zone I workers or not. Can somebody please clarify?

The Revised Minimum Basic Wages applicable to Shops & Commercial establishments w.e.f. 24th July, 2019 as under for Zone I:
Category Basic Wages
Skilled Rs.11,632
Semi-skilled Rs.10,856
Un-skilled Rs.10,021
The Average CPI is fixed for Special Allowance (DA) is 329 points (new series 2001=100).
Whatever index points increases over and above 329 points an amount of Rs.26 will increase for each 1 point as a Special allowance. i.e. if the new INDEX is 334 then 334-329=5 points X 26=130
Rs.130 will be special allowance + above mentioned Basic of each category.
