Disciplinary process advice for IT employee charged with gross misconduct

Hi Folks, I work for a software consulting company and have been charged with gross misconduct(data loss in client's network).
The disciplinary process is undergoing and I need some advice for my further statements and my next step as case is with HR and legal team of the company and it's internal to company until now.
