Attendance sheet - Is it necessary to send attendance sheet to the individual employee through mail every month?

I am working in a start up company as a HR manager. Is it necessary to send attendance sheet to the individual employee through mail every month, or else if they have any doubts about their attendance, they come to me and i have to clear their doubts.
