Document Submission and Verification Issue
I have cleared all the rounds in a new company. I was asked to upload all documents, and I did so. HR asked me for Form 16, salary slips, and relieving letters from all my previous companies. I provided all the proofs, including bank statements with salary slips and relieving letters.
The issue arose because I submitted documents from my current company, where I am currently employed. My previous company, before the current one, had closed down. Despite providing documents like relieving letters, salary slips, and bank statements from that company to the new company, they insisted on Form 16 only. I explained the situation, stating that the company had closed, and I had no means to obtain Form 16 from them.
I requested them to consider the documents provided as proof of my employment with that company, but they did not respond. Although I had submitted bank statements, the problem was that the company name was only mentioned in the statements for the last two months of my seven-month tenure there.
After multiple attempts to communicate with them, including reminders, I informed them that if it was not possible to verify my previous company experience, they could exclude it from my overall work history. However, there was still no response.
I was working under XXX on a third-party payroll. My Senior Technical Director provided a written and signed note stating my work history, including the closed company, on the letterhead of the Government of India, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. I forwarded this document to HR, emphasizing the credibility of the source, but received no response.
After sending another reminder, HR finally replied, forwarding all my previous emails to another HR contact with a note to address the issue promptly. I am uncertain about the outcome at this point.
I have submitted all authentic documents but have not received a resolution.
