Background Verification For Criminal/Civil case - accident and party filed a case against me

Hello All, I met with an accident a few months back. Though it is not my fault, the other party filed a case against me. He and his wife had some minor injuries.
Now, I have an FIR against me. Very soon, I am expecting an employment offer from an US-based company. Will this case affect by background verification and have an impact on my future job changes. Please advice.

No it wont. in back ground/ reference check generally companies check your last held post, salary and working profile and yr character but company can ask you that is there any legal case pending agst you and you have to answer this question nothing else.
