Can We Form Multiple Internal Complaints Committees for Different Regions in India?

Hi, can someone please tell me if an organization can form more than one Internal Complaints Committee? My organization has only one head office situated in Bangalore. However, the employees work across pan-India locations with no physical existence of an office. I am considering creating ICCs based on regions (North, South, West & Head Office).

As per the provisions of the Act, ICC must be at each location, not in the HO or in the region.

By an amendment gazetted on May 9, 2016, the term/expression "Complaints" wherever it occurs in the SHWW (P, P & R) Act of 2013 has been deleted from the expression "Internal Complaints Committee."

Hence, the committee constituted under Section 4 of the said Act of 2013 by every employer of every establishment employing ten or more workers shall be known as the Internal Committee.

For constituting the Internal Committee, please be guided by Section 4.
