Hi friends,

Kindly explain briefly. My concern is that an employee has a problem where their name differs in the offer letter and Aadhar ID proof. How can this problem be resolved?

Hi Siva and all other freshers,

Please ensure that:
a) Name (preferably in full)
b) Father's name
c) Date of birth (should be exactly as recorded in Birth Certificate)
d) And all other details are exactly the same, including spellings (expanding initials), exactly the same in all relevant documents, such as SSLC, PUC, Degree certificates, caste and income certificates, Aadhaar, driving licence, passport, voter ID, etc., before submitting your CV/bio-data for jobs. If any details are different, it is advisable to get them corrected and revised to be in line with SSLC because for all purposes, SSLC is considered the basic document.

It is a common complaint that Aadhaar details are showing mismatches with other documents. If this is the case, it is not difficult to correct your Aadhaar data. There are arrangements to make such corrections 'online'. Many browsing centres offer this service for a nominal fee.

In your case, first check what is correct and incorrect. If Aadhaar is incorrect, you can arrange corrections. If you receive an offer letter with spelling mistakes, etc., point out those mistakes to the HR in writing and request them to reissue it duly making necessary corrections. There is nothing to worry about.
