EPFO Unable to get transaction status from bank - ''Awaiting Payment Confirmation from Bank''

Dear Sir, We have paid the current month's ECR and at the time of payment we faced an error ''Awaiting Payment Confirmation from Bank''.
Then few times later I have verified it from View Locked Challan Status. I have many times verified it but it results as ''Unable to get transaction status from bank''. However, the payment was already deducted from the bank at the time of payment. Can I reject this transaction? Please suggest what to do.

if payment is deducted, and does not return back within next working day to bank , then portal will issue receipt, it happens due to huge traffic and slow internet at the payee instrument,
in such cases locked challan section should be checked after gap of 3-4 hours. top get actual status
