Dear Sir,

We have paid the current month's ECR, and at the time of payment, we faced an error 'Awaiting Payment Confirmation from Bank.'

A few times later, I verified it from View Locked Challan Status. I have checked it many times, but it still shows 'Unable to get transaction status from the bank.' However, the payment was already deducted from the bank at the time of payment. Can I reject this transaction? Please suggest what to do.

This situation often occurs due to high traffic and slow internet at the payee's end. In such cases, the locked challan section should be checked after a gap of 3-4 hours to get the actual status.

However, the payment was already deducted from the bank during the payment process. After 10 hours, I rejected this transaction. Unfortunately, the payment has not been returned to my account. Please suggest what steps to take next.
