EPF Transfer Issue - previous employer has updated the date of relieving as 23/02/2018 instead of 06/02/2018

I absconded from a company on 06/02/2018 and rejoined my old company on 08/02/2018. However, the previous employer has updated the date of relieving as 23/02/2018 instead of 06/02/2018. Because of this, I am unable to withdraw/transfer my PF amount to my current employer.

You need to take a Joint Declaration Form (download from EPFO website) and mention the correct and wrong details. Get it attested by your employer and submit it to the EPFO.

Hi,

My previous employer has refused to transfer my PF amount to my present account. I claimed a transfer request through the online process, but it is showing as pending at my previous employer's end. I contacted my HR to digitally sign the transfer, but he showed no interest in doing so. I have also registered a grievance with the PF office, but it has been of no use.

What should be my next step? Please help me solve this problem.
