Feeling Stuck in a New BPO: How Can I Address Unfair Leave Policies and Safety Concerns Anonymously?

Hi, I joined a newly formed organization (BPO). Initially, we were advised that we would only get 1 leave per month, and the company would follow national holidays as per the US. This was to be applicable until the company was registered. Now, it's already been 8 months since the company registered, and neither the number of leaves has increased, nor are we getting leaves on US national holidays. The company has not even provided us with an offer letter. Every time we ask about these issues, they just say they are working on it. Female employees are made to travel alone at night as there is no transportation. There is no way to complain about this since there is no HR, and the only point of escalation is the organization's MD, who is the one making all these rules. I want to take some action but was hoping there are some ways to do this anonymously so I don't jeopardize my work. Please help.

Laws of India are applicable. Timings may be done as per the USA, but beyond that, saying American laws are applicable is not in order.

You cannot remain anonymous and win the battle. Someone will have to bite the bullet and ask for appointment orders, proper work timings, and other requirements to be productive and in line with our labor laws.

It is erroneous to hold that the law of the country of origin would be applicable to a foreign branch of a company incorporated elsewhere. The very name "national holiday" or "festival holiday" is location-specific. An American company cannot deny its employees in Indian operations such statutory holidays applicable to India. Since your BPO comes under the Maharashtra Shops and Establishments Act, you can make a complaint to the State Labor Commissioner.
