Seeking Guidance on Eligibility for Compassionate Grounds After Father's Passing in 2007

My father passed away in December 2007 while returning home after duty due to an accident at the age of 45. He was working as a peon at Corporation Bank of India. I am currently working in a private company in a BPO. Am I eligible for compassionate grounds?

The poster has to check the Service Regulations of the Bank to know the norms prescribed for compassionate ground appointment to the legal heirs of employees dying in harness. Better he should contact the Bank Employees Association.

Since the poster is gainfully employed elsewhere, it is doubtful whether he would satisfy the norms and therefore any one of his unemployed siblings may apply for the compassionate ground appointment.
