ESIC Registration Dilemma: Do We Need to Register with 30 Employees Across Outlets?

None of the outlets have more than 10 employees, but the total establishment has around 30 employees. In this scenario, are we liable to register under the ESIC Act?

For sub code, no strength is needed. Even a single person employed is eligible to get enrolled. If the number is not adequate, then enroll the person at the principal place and depute them at the outlet.

Thank you, Sharmaji. Is it mandatory to register such units where the total employee strength is more than 10, but unit/outlet-wise the same is around 6?
Glidor
Registered ESIC units cannot employ any person without ESIC enrollment. It is not mandatory to have a sub-code always, as many times employees are recruited on deputation for a certain period. They can be employed at the principal office and deputed at the outlet. However, if the nature of employment is permanent, then a sub-code can be applied for a single employee even.
