How Can I Prove My Salary Was Paid in Cash? Need Sample Affidavit Format from Employer

Hi,

In my first company from India (from 2010-2011), I was paid my salary as cash in hand, and there was no PF and tax deduction. Since I wasn't under the tax slab, I did not file my ITR for the years 2010 and 2011.

Now, I need a letter/affidavit format from the employer to prove that the salary was paid in cash and not through bank transfer. Could someone provide a sample format for this affidavit?

Ask your previous employer for a salary certificate (for taxpayers, it is Form 16). It would work.
