Did I Make the Right Call by Declining a Job Offer Due to a 45-Day Joining Demand?

I was offered a job from Medtronic, but before sharing the offer letter, they asked me to join after 45 days or they would revoke the offer. They were ready for a buyout for 45 days.

My company's notice period is 90 days, and I informed Medtronic that I would need to start after 90 days, which is the official notice period. They insisted that I join after 45 days, or they would revoke the offer. Unsure if my manager would release me within 45 days, I declined the proposal since the 45-day joining clause was not initially mentioned. I did mention my 3-month notice period to them but said it might be negotiable depending on my manager.

Did I make the right decision in declining their proposal?
