Navigating Professional Tax: Should We Register PT in Our Regional Offices Across India?

Dear All,

We have our corporate office in Mumbai and regional offices in Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata. Employees working in the regional offices are on the corporate payroll, and salaries are disbursed from the Corporate office in Mumbai. The Professional Tax (PT) is deducted based on the Maharashtra PT slab.

Could you please guide us on whether we should register for PT in all regions, namely Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata?

Yes, you have to pay as per the regional P.T.
