To the best of my knowledge, paternity leave has not been introduced so far in any establishment-specific labor law in our country. The pity is that most of the working women are indirectly pressured by their employers to leave their jobs the moment it is known that they are pregnant, as of now, in view of the enhanced maternity benefit under the Maternity Benefit Act of 1961.
